About:
Stuffed peppers are a great family meal to make. There are savory and a little sweet. It is a lot easier to make when you want to make a lot at once. You can choose any types of peppers. The red ones are the sweetest. The green ones aren’t sweet. I prefer making it with red, yellow, and orange peppers. Anybody should be able to make the peppers. You just have to be on top of all the directions and make sure not to burn anything. Just try to make them and see how they turn out. It couldn’t get that bad. I have my own recipe for stuffed peppers below. I hope you enjoy and they turn out good.
This Recipe makes stuffed peppers for four people.
Ingredients:
1/2 onion
2 carrots
1 celery stick
4 mushrooms
nutmeg
cinnamon
salt/pepper
ground white turkey meat
short grain brown rice
4 bell peppers
Directions:
Chop the onion. Put it in a frying pan with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Chop the carrots and celery and put them in the pan. Add olive oil if needed. Chop the mushrooms and add them in the pan. Add a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon. Put in the turkey and start chopping it in the pan. Once the turkey is chopped into small bits add the rice and cover up the pan. Preheat the oven to 350°. Hollow out the peppers and make the bottom flat without cutting through. After it cools stuff the 4 peppers to the very top. Put them in the oven for 30 minutes. If you want cheese, when they finish cooking, add cheese and cook until cheese has melted. If you don’t want cheese, take out after 30 minutes. Let them cool before eating. Enjoy!!
